Oasis UK’s Happy Hat Day

by | Mar 8, 2026 | Blog

Across our schools, our teams wore hats to participate in Oasis’ annual awareness and fundraising campaign for children and young people’s mental health. The event sparked joy in our schools and opened up conversation about mental well-being and how to support it within our schools and communities.

In Oasis schools, 1 in 6 young people experience mental health challenges which, if left unsupported, may result in disability and poor life outcomes later in life with difficulties such as anxiety, depression and stress. At AiP, we plan to prevent this by prioritising health and well-being in everything we do. We hope to make our schools a fun and expressive environment through diverse, nutritious food experiences and connection over lunches in the canteen.

Outside of the lunch hall, Oasis provides support through community-based, preventative and therapeutic support to children and young people. Programmes like Oasis Nurture, Oasis 360 and Oasis Encounter are just some examples of their work. Having this constant support is important for children, and for some, this support can be life-changing.

Thank you to all our teams across AiP schools who took part in supporting such an important cause. Take a look at the fun our team had for Happy Hat Day.
