We’re incredibly proud of our catering team at King Edward VI Academy Trust (KEVIAT), who were selected as a finalist in the ‘Making Core’ category at this year’s Social Value Portal Awards. Alliance in Partnership (AiP), working alongside KEVIAT, was the only school meal provider recognised, showcasing the meaningful impact our teams continue to make through food education, sustainability, and community-focused initiatives.
The Social Value Portal Awards celebrate organisations that create meaningful social impact. Through the innovative social value measurement framework, businesses can measure their contribution using a trusted approach to recording and reporting social value.
This measurement framework is used nationwide, helping organisations to understand, strengthen, and demonstrate the positive difference they make within their communities. Taking part in this year’s awards has given us valuable insight into what it takes to lead in social value, and it has strengthened our dedication to continually improving our practice.
Moments like this remind us why choosing a sustainable school caterer is so important. It is about creating a healthier future for children, schools, and the planet.
