AiP Re-accredited by ProVeg UK

We’re proud to share that Alliance in Partnership (AiP) has once again been re-accredited by ProVeg UK. It is a recognition of our ongoing commitment to making school meals healthier, more sustainable, inclusive, and cost-effective.

For pupils, this means dishes that fuel energy, focus, and well-being. For parents and carers, it’s reassurance that every menu is designed with both children and the planet in mind.

What makes our menus stand out?

  • Descriptive, child-friendly dish names that highlight flavour, texture, and provenance.
  • Inclusive menu labelling using (v) and (ve) symbols, ensuring pupils can easily identify plant-based choices.
  • One meat-free (and fish-free) day each week, helping children explore new, planet-friendly dishes.
  • Avoiding terms like meat-free or vegetarian option in dish names – instead, we celebrate dishes for what they are.

Our menus also place vegetarian and plant-based meals at the top every day, highlighting them as planet-friendly options. This approach helps pupils feel confident in making sustainable food choices, while also ensuring meals are balanced, appealing, and packed with variety.

With dishes such as Dhansak Curry with Brown Rice, Quorn Loaded Punjabi Masala with Rice, Loaded Five Bean Chilli with Roast Potatoes, and Smoky Broccoli Soft Tacos with Rice, pupils are introduced to bold, exciting flavours that make healthy eating both enjoyable and accessible.

Leading the way in sustainable school catering

ProVeg UK’s accreditation recognises school caterers that demonstrate real impact when it comes to health, inclusivity, and sustainability. By focusing on menu innovation, clear communication, and engaging education, AiP continues to show that large-scale catering can be both sustainable and efficient.

We’re proud to be part of the movement towards healthier, climate-friendly school meals – supporting pupils today, while shaping healthier habits for tomorrow.
